There is always at least one situation that brings fulfilment even on the worst day. Start a running list of all the things you are grateful for — and take it a step further by verbalising a "thank you" to the Creator for bringing it to you.
One of my favorite definition of love is found in I Corinthians 13 in the Bible.
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends." How is your love meter measuring today?
Perform a random act of kindness. One day was experiencing the worst day ever. No matter how hard I tried, my spirit was low. When you experience intense growth and challenge in the business world, life coaches refer to this as “reaching the upper limit.” On that day as I drove past the main entrance of my home, one of the security personnel stopped me and asked if I could take her to pick up lunch. Though I was not in the mood for company, I said 'yes." On my “upper limit” day I went out of my way to help her get lunch. This very young and aspiring, but struggling young woman and I had a lovely chat. I learned from her, to stop focusing on my own challenges and troubles, and it made me feel good to know that, on that day, I empowered her to continue striving for her dream.
How can you will up your GAP today and continue to design a path to live empowered and successful?
